Cravings Market Restaurant in Calgary

Cravings is a fantastic place to take your family and Friends. A great place for Breakfast Lunch or Dinner. Such a variety of different cuisines, something for everyone! My kids love it. they have a kids (under 6) Eat Free deal!. For those who haven't been, this is how it works: You get a card and simply walk up to one of the food stations and order your meal from the chef (No more splitting bills! ). Once your food is ready the servers bring it to you. They have 2-3 different soups every day. I loved the Five peppercorn crusted striploin Steak and the lamb rack. For breakfast, do yourself a favor and order "The Big Breakfast" they serve Rosso Coffee. The pizza is also great and I can go on and on. I had the Grilled steak kabobs today with Truffle Parmesan & Thyme Fries (I would never order regular fries after trying the Truffle ones) Great value and you'll never leave hungry. I eat here 8-10 times a month and I have never been disappointed.

Great food and attentive staff - definitely a neat market style place to grab lunch or sit on the patio this summer. Would recommend checking it out!

Good food with nice pricing, the thing i don’t like is i already reserve a table yet we still waited to be seated. I understand its busy but what does the semse of doing reservation of you still have to wait.

I've been raving about this to all my coworkers and friends . The BBQ Kit was fantastic. I had the Tenderloin for one person came with everything .I needed a little help with the meat and spices, called Cravings talked to Chef Greg (?) he was very helpful . In the end , who knew I could make the perfect steak dinner, along with a nice bottle of wine it was divine .

Terrible service. Half of our table got their food and the other half had to wait so their food was stone cold. Made the reservation a week in advance. Did not care that the service was terrible. The server seemed to be bothered when we asked how long our food was going to be and was very snarky and full of bad attitude, not a quality you want to have if you want a tip. Cleaned the table next to us and then served us food wearing the same gloves. Complete disregard to cleanliness and hygiene. I wish I could give you zero stars. Never going back and I suggest people steer clear. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE GO SOMEWHERE YOUR MONEY WILL BE APPRECIATED AND WHERE SUPPORTING YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS IS ACTUALLY VALUED.

Ordered takeout, one meal was mistaking missed in the order,I called immediately,and they quickly sent out the missing item and desserts for no charge! Great Service! Thank you

I love how they have cute little cards and I can go to different counters and get my food. The food was delicious and there is so much to choice from and options for vegetarian. Wish there was more for vegans though. It's a nice cafe feel and the rosso coffee was very good. I should definitely come back

Pretty large dining area and interesting experience. You get a card and you can choose from three different areas to order from. The food is really fresh and it makes it easier to order. A server still brings the food to your table.

Found a recommendation in the community we live in to try this place out. We were pleasantly surprised at how good our whole experience was. The card system is awesome. You can chat and go order what food you want in your own time- so you never feel like the waitress is constantly asking for your order or to square up your bill. The food was fast and absolutely delicious! We went at lunch and loved the atmosphere. I can’t wait to go again!

It's been great in the past but today the ribs we ordered were boiled meat with some sauce. Kinda disgusting and considering the price should have been out of this world.Hopefully baking them at home will make the racks edible.Unfortunately I may never eat there again.The reopening after pandemic problems is not an excuse for what was served. When mentioned to the server we were wished luck recooking them at home.

They have LOTS of options. You get a little card, bring it to the area of what you want, order, get your card scanned, pay at the end at the till. I think that's a cool concept. Great for business meetings (you're not getting bothered as much with ordering and such except if you want a beverage perhaps). Chicken was a little on the dry side. Otherwise a fantastic tasting dish with a lot of different vegetables than your basic plain jane veggies.

Hidden in the middle of a commercial/industrial area is the Cravings Market Restaurant. My GPS showed me where it was, I arrived without noticing it.Once you were inside, the atmosphere was both warm and welcoming. I was there at 12pm, I had the choice of a breakfast or lunch menu. The lunch menus included steak, burger, sandwiches, pasta, pizza and Asian curry. In other words, the restaurant woulf fit different tastes in a group of people. You would need to walk to different counter to place order for your food with the card they gave you, once ordered the food would be brought to your table.The good thing is no bill splitting, and it is readily combined if needed.The whole setup could be described as a glorified food court, but I liked it.Food did not disappoint and the presentation was excellent. I will definitely return with my family.

Food was decent nothing super greatnthough. I had the sangrias which were on special, definitely a high point to my meal tonight. Another high point was the service. Waitress was super nice and provided excellent service.

It is always a pleasure to dive at Cravings. They can accommodate every allergy and preference so everyone can find what they want. The food and presentation is consistently good.

Went for breakfast for our anniversary – absolutely delicious food for an unbeatable price.Had reservations for The Keg for dinner but cancelled them to come back here.Great menu, great ambiance and great staff.We recieved a free dessert (of our choice) for our anniversary. And the kitchen was extremely accommodating for my carnivore diet.

Really terrible pizza. Crust is over cooked and borderline burned and too crunchy while the pizza sauces and toppings didn’t taste great which is super disappointing for how much you pay for it. Was very disappointed with the margherita pizza as they cooked the basil on the pizza so it was wilted, dark and flavourless. The pasta sauces were also watery and thin and the lobster ravioli was mostly scallops with very little shrimp or lobster.

This was a really pleasant experience. A great place to meet for business or with friends. The service was exceptional. And the food impeccable. Lots of parking spaces and well located in Calgary. I look forward to next time.

Was there on Saturday morning for breakfast, for my first brunch out since the Covid-19 crisis started... and it was just lovely!!! Delicious food, friendly and warm service, health guidance followed accordingly, some of the staff worn this amazing face shields, which allows you to see their faces and understand what they say! Besides that loved the jazz! Surely I'll be back soon!

went for YYC hot chocolate festival. Cant believe hot chocolate and brandy can make a good and rich harmony in the mouth. You can do without alcohol for sure. Tried creme brulee, and its a must try!

Haven't been for a while because we moved. But brunch was great! Service was awesome as always! And I would still highly recommend to everyone!

First time I came here I got the farmers market bowl, it came with the usual with toast/loads of hasbrown and fruit. Was deemed my favourite breakfast place, came back the second time and noticed they cut portions by a lot. Probably will not return.

Good times at cravings, occasionally the orders are brought out with small errors in them, but honestly the service and the atmosphere make up for it. Love it.

Excellent food and service! We had the beef dip and the steak sandwich. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted the great. The stag was warm and inviting. They offered just the right amount of service without being overbearing; plates were cleared fast and waters were topped up quickly. We will be back to try other items!

The concept of selecting your own dishes from professionally run 'stations' is a fantastic idea, We were very lucky to stumble on to it. Spouse had the fresh made lobster ravioli and though the plate was huge and she is small, it was all gone! We also had a fresh coffee and desert. Price is very reasonable for the quality of the food. I would like to return and try several of the different dish options which also rotate.

Won a patio party for myself and 20 friends. What a wonderful experience. The personnel, food and and environmental were all simply fantastic! Everyone had a wonderful time. Highly recommended this place. Thank you for a delicious and fun evening!

Fun restaurant. Ordering is fun and I like that you tell the people who are making your food directly what you'd like. Live music some nights and nice decor. Our visits in the past have been super but I think they've been a little slow to figure things out since reopening again for dine in. Service was non-existant and food was a disappointment. As well, not sure if it's proper 'social distancing' if when I back my chair out I hit the person sitting behind me. We'll try again in a few months.

I love to eat in this establishment but last Thursday we ordered using DoorDash and as expected the food was definitely not up to their in house standards. This is not my concern. I just wanted to comment on a particular dish; the crab cakes were not very good and as a matter of fact we threw them out. I have had them before and they have been very good. There just was not any crab in them, mostly bread crumbs or filler of some sort and tasteless. Just thought you should know; we also had the Ginger Beef Noodles and a Pizza, which were both fine. Have a good day. I will be back but up your game with the Cakes!!!

It was amazing. The staff is really friendly even with my crazy kids. A good selection in the menu, pizzas, salads, paninis, "All day Breakfast", fish tacos, steak sandwiches, dessert. Kids options. The food is really good. We have a great experience. For sure we will be back.

Very much enjoyed this place. A market setting, and you are given a card that is scanned per item/dish that you order. Food is then brought to your table and supported by servers. Cool idea and works well! Great food, great service, recommended, and we will be coming back again.

Visited for YYC hot chocolate fest. This lovely little market restaurant is delicious and make unique, beautiful plates of food and dessert. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a treat or to enjoy a cozy place in winter. Highly recommended! If you go for the YYC Hot Chocolate, have it as a dessert. It is too sweet just to drink and could have benefited from some steamed milk to add after mixing.

Went in for baileys and coffee, chicken wings and dessert. Everything was so delicious! I’m definitely going back for dinner! Service was on point as well.

I love Cravings! I have been there multiple times and I overall have great experiences! I love their interior design and it is so close to home that it is an easy choice. The food is delicious and I am a big fan of the parmesan truffle fries. Thank you to all of the staff who are working so hard to keep operating at this time!

Been here a couple of times for lunch meetings. Great ambience, super friendly service and exciting concept. Food is fresh and great portions for the price. This place has become my new favorite spot for business get-togethers!

I love the setup having many food choices and bar. Ordered a pizza and a bison burger. Both were delicious and very tasty. A little awkward location wise but had a wonderful time. For parking, I recommend going around the back so that you can park on the south side of the building to be closer to the entrance.

This place is absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and I came here just a few days ago and we ordered the Aloha Chicken Burger, and the BLTCO Burger and they both were absolutely amazing! We also ordered the Chocolate High 5 cake and that was also delicious and fresh. They have also done a great job with providing sanitizer stations throughout the restaurant, minimizing the amount of people in washrooms and smaller areas, and have only a specific amount of tables available to accommodate the 6-feet apart rule, would definitely recommend!

Wowsers! Ordered a Goddess salad and shrimp skewers from Skip not knowing what I was getting. And my socks are blown off! The salad is delicious and the shrimp! They were cooked to perfection not rubbery, lots of flavor and meaty! Looking forward to trying some items one day ! Great Job Cravings! You totally satisfied mine!
